Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Kelayakan LKPD berbasis discovery learning pada materi asam basa yang telah sesuai standar BSNP; (2) Tanggapan peserta didik terhadap LKPD berbasis discovery learning pada materi asam basa yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Binjai dengan subjek yang diteliti adalah kelas XI PMS 3 SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen non-tes berupa angket validasi BSNP dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap LKPD yang telah dikembangkan. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode R&D dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE dengan tidak dilakukan tahap Implementation dan Evaluation yang disesuaikan dengan standar kelayakan BSNP. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) LKPD yang telah dikembangkan sesuai dengan standar kelayakan BSNP divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media yang merupakan Dosen UNIMED dan Guru Kimia SMA Negeri 2 Binjai dengan memperoleh nilai presentase rata-rata total dari ahli materi sebesar 89,9% dengan kriteria “sangat layak” dan nilai persentase rata-rata total dari ahli media sebesar 88,1% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”; (2) LKPD yang telah dikembangkan ditanggapi kemenarikannya oleh peserta didik dengan menggunakan angket tanggapan yang diberikan kepada peserta didik melalui google form dan diperoleh nilai persentase rata-rata total dari peserta didik sebesar 83,7% dengan kriteria “sangat menarik”. Secara keseluruhan LKPD telah layak dan menarik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada materi asam basa.
