Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa artikel untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Digital Library Universitas Negeri Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Studi Kepustakaan (Library Research). Teknik Pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi diperoleh dari lima artikel jurnal yang relevan dengan topic kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu: peran guru sebagai fasilitator, partisipasi aktif siswa, serta bahan ajar yang di desain sesuai dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Hasil penelitian mengimplikasikan bahwa model problem based learning membantu siswa dalam menguasai konsep-konsep yang dipelajari guna memecahkan masalah dunia nyata, memahami pengetahuan baru yang diperolehnya, meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan aktivitas pembelajaran siswa.
