Abstract
The aimst of this study was to analyze the kinds of conflict and conflict
management strategies of the main character in The Greatest Showman On Earth
movie script. This study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method.
The sources of the data were The Grestest Showman On Earth movie script. The
instrument for collecting data was used documentary sheet. The results of this
research show that 1) There were 16 conflicts faced by the main character in the
script , they were 8 Man-against-Man conflict (50%) , 4 Man-against-
Environment conflict (25%), 3 Man-against-Himself conflict (19%) and 1 Managainst-
Nature conflict (6%). 2) There were five conflict management strategies
that applied in the script . They are Competing at the most applied strategy which
used for 7 conflicts (69%), and the other strategy; Accomodating, Avoiding,
Collaborating and Compromising each applied once (9%).
