Abstract

The aim of this study is to create a learning medium for the subject German and vocabulary with the application “inShot”. The development model is used in this study. The creation process consists of explaining the phases of Richey and Klein's theory, which are (1) planning, (2) creation, and (3) evaluation. The data of the investigation are the grammatical rules, dialogue, and exercises on the subject of articles in the accusative, prepositions, and perfect tenses. This research is carried out in the Foreign Language Laboratory at the Faculty of Language and Art of Medan State University. The inShot application is used to create the learning medium. The result of the creation is a learning medium for the subject German and vocabulary, which consists of the learning materials, dialogue and tasks. The created learning medium has been validated by the experts, they are media experts and experts on learning materials. The grade of the learning medium from the expert is 87.5, which means that the learning medium is good and suitable for use as a learning medium.
