Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Student Teams Achievment Division (STAD) terhadap Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa pada materi Kubus Dan Balok di kelas VIII MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian posttest only control group design. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Amaliyah Sunggal dan yang menjadi sampel penelitiannya yaitu kelas VIII-A Dan VIII-B yyang terpilih secara purposive sampling. Sebelum dilakukan uji hipotesis maka dilakukan uji normalitas terlebih dahulu dan menggunakan uji liliefors dan uji homogenitas dengan uji F. ditemukan bahwa data pada kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen setelah diberikan perlakukan didapat bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 50,63 dan rata-rata kelas eksperimen yaitu 70,50.dilakukan uji t untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian. Dari hasil pengujian didapat bahwa thitung > ttabel . Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division (STAD) terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, dimana terdapat perbedaan antara nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yaitu kelas nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol dengan model pengajaran langsung dengan nilai effect size 1,41 kategori tinggi.
