Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh model pembelajaran open-ended terhadap pembelajaran Matematika secara keseluruhan serta berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan, wilayah dan variabel terikat penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif terhadap analisis hasil publikasi penelitian ilmiah pada e-jurnal nasional. Pengaruh penelitian-penelitian yang menerapkan pembelajaran pendekatan open-ended dianalisis dengan teknik meta-analisis. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara keseluruhan penelitian-penelitian yang dilakukan berpengaruh dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar Matematika peserta didik dengan effect size 1,0101 atau dalam kategori efek besar. Pendekatan open-ended pun memberikan pengaruh dan efektif dilihat dari segi wilayah, jenjang pendidikan, dan penerapan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar peserta didik, pemahan konsep, penalaran matematis, kreatifitas siswa, pemecahan masalah, kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemahaman, dan komunikasi matematis. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa pendekatan open-ended efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir pada pelajaran Matematika.
