Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran matematika melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan Geogebra yang dikembangkan dan menganalisis bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa setelah diajarkan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Produk yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, buku guru, buku siswa, dan lembar kegiatan siswa. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu, define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua kali uji coba di dua kelas yang berbeda yaitu kelas XI MS 1 dan XI MS 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskripsif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi seluruh kriteria validitas, baik validitas isi maupun validitas konstruk; (2) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi seluruh kriteria kepraktisan, dilihat dari: a) penilaian validator dan b) keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran; (3) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi seluruh kriteria keefektifan, dilihat dari: a) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa, b) aktivitas siswa, dan c) respon positif siswa; (4) kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa meningkat menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dilihat dari hasil post-test uji coba I dan uji coba II.
