Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan fakta yang ditemukan dilapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar hanya berbentuk buku teks, bahan ajar disampaikan masih konvensional dengan menggunakan metode dikte ceramah dan latihan, guru belum pernah mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis audio visual. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti perlu melakukan tindakan untuk memperkecil permasalahan tersebut dengan melakukan pengembangan bahan ajar, yaitu berupa pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis audio visual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar audio visual pada tema enam yaitu Aku dan cita - citaku siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 060948 Medan labuhan. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model Sugiyono yaitu terdiri dari 10 tahapan. (1) tahap potensi dan masalah, (2) tahap pengumpulan data, (3) tahap desain produk, (4) tahap validasi produk, (5) tahap revisi produk, (6) tahap uji coba dan pemakaian, (7) tahap revisi produk dan pmakaian, (8) tahap uji coba, (9) tahap revisi pemakaian, (10) tahap produksi masal. Namun, penelitian dan pengembangan dilakukan hanya sampai 5 tahap dikarenakan adanya pandemi Covid-19. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 060948 Medan labuhan. Sedangkan validator yang merupakan penilaian bahan ajar yaitu validator berasal dari Dosen dan 1 dari Guru wali kelas IV untuk menilai materi dan bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji kelayakan ahli desain yang mendapatkan skor 97,33 %, uji kelayakan ahli materi yang mendapatkan skor 75 %, uji kelayakan materi bahan ajar terhadap guru kelas IV SDN 060948 Medan labuhan 80 %. Dari ketiga skor validasi ahli bahan ajar yang dikembangkan tergolong dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata 82,77% Berdasarkan hasil dari tiga validasi bahwasanya bahan ajar berbasis audio visual layak digunakan untuk siswa kelas IV SD.
