Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dibanding motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Binjai yang beralamat di Jalan Samanhudi No.20, Satria, Binjai Kota, kota Binjai Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AKL yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yang berjumlah 71siswa. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu kelas X AKL 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X AKL 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data motivasi belajar diperoleh menggunakan angket dan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes berupa 20 soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas angket, analisis angket ,lalu menghitung uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test menggunakan SPSS dengan kriteria jika nilai sig < 0,05 pada α=0,05, maka hipotesis diterima. Hasil analisis data, angket motivasi belajar dari pengujian hipotesis untuk motivasi belajar diperoleh bahwa nilai sig < 0,05 pada α = 0,05 (0,00<0,05) maka berarti Hipotesis diterima yang menyatakan bahwa motivasi belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding motivasi belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020. Dari hasil analisis data, nilai rata-rata hasil test kelas eksperimen adalah 76,86 dengan standar deviasi 9,082 dan kelas kontrol 63,89 dengan standar deviasi 11,346. Hasil uji independent sample t-test diperoleh hasil nilai sig < 0,05 (0,00<0,05) yang berarti Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams games Tournament lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai T.P 2019/2020. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar dengan akuntansi yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan motivasi dan hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas X AKL di SMK Negeri 1 Binjai Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020 pada materi Konsep Jurnal perusahaan jasa.
