Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) adanya pengaruh strategi pembelajaran talking stick dan ekspositori terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa; (2) adanya pengaruh perbedaan gaya belajar kinestetik dan auditori terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa; dan (3) adanya interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 10 Medan, semester 2 tahun pembelajaran 2012/2013. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X pariwisata SMK NEGERI 10 MEDAN dengan jumlah kelas 7 kelas dan jumlah siswa sebanyak 200 orang, sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X Busana 1 dan kelas X Busana 3 dengan masing-masing jumlah kelas 30 orang. Jumlah sampel seluruhnya 60, kelas X Busana 1 diberikan pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran talking stick dan kelas X Busana 3 dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. Angket gaya belajar diberikan untuk mengelompokkan siswa atas gaya belajar kinestetik dan gaya belajar auditori. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain actorial 2 x 2. Uji persyaratan normalitas dengan menggunakan Liliefors diketahui masing-masing kelompok data berdistribusi normal dan uji homogenitas dilakukan dengan uji varians terbesar berbanding varians terkecil dan untuk gabungan empat kelompok sel rancangan eksperimen dengan menggunakan uji barlett, diketahui semua kelompok berasal dari populasi yang bersifat homogen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah ANAVA dua jalur dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe.Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah : (1) Siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran talking stick memperoleh hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, dengan harga Fhitung = 6,01 > Ftabel = 4,01; (2) Siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik memperoleh hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori, dengan harga Fhitung = 4,36 > Ftabel = 4,01; (3) Terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan gaya belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa, dengan harga Fhitung = 17,50 > Ftabel = 4,01. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran talking stick lebih baik daripada strategi pembelajaran ekspositori dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik memperoleh hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori. Siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori memperoleh hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan jika diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori.
