Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar Akuntansi di kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar Akuntansi yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan metode Pembelajaran Konvensional siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Binjai pada semester genap Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 72 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Simple Random Sampling yang terdiri dari kelas X AKL 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X AKL-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penentuan besarnya jumlah sampel digunakan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar. Tes tersebut berupa pre test dalam bentuk essay dan post test dalam bentuk pilihan berganda yang dikutip dari buku pegangan guru sehingga tidak perlu lagi diuji validitas maupun reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menentukan rata-rata hitung, standar deviasi, uji normalitas dengan menggunakan uji Liliefors, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan Uji-t dengan kriteria thitung > ttabel pada signifikansi α = 0,05. Dari hasil analisis data kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata pre test dan post test yaitu 50,5 dan 80. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata pre test dan post test yaitu 48 dan 73,83. Pengujian hipotesis dari hasil post test yang dilakukan diperoleh thitung 2,61 dan ttabel 1,6723. Melalui kriteria pengujian hipotesis dapat ditentukan bahwa jika thitung > ttabel maka hipotesis diterima. Dapat disimpulkan hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan model Pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan metode Pembelajaran Konvensional pada siswa kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 1 Binjai Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020.
