Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and development) bersifat deskriptif dengan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) ini , bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasisproyek pada materi Larutan Penyangga untuk siswa kelas XI IPA SMA sesuai standar BSNP. Populasi bahan ajar kimia yang beredar di Medan, dosen kimia Unimed, guru kimia dan siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Medan. Sampel diambil dengan teknik sampling purposive 2 guru kimia dan 2 dosen ahli dibidangnya. Sementara sampel bahan ajar penerbit Erlangga (A) , Grafindo Media (B), Yrama Widya (C), 30 siswa kelas XI IPA 7 (eksperimen 1), yang dibelajarkan menggunakan bahan ajar hasil pengembangan, dan 30 siswa kelas XI IPA 2 (eksperimen 2), yang dibelajarkan menggunakan bahan ajar pegangan siswa diambil secara teknik sampling random. Data diolah secara deskriptif, diperoleh nilai validasi bahan ajar yang dikembangkan yaitu kelayakan isi 3,82; bahasa 3,96; penyajian 3,80; dan kegrafikan 3,86 artinya bahan ajar hasil pengembangan sangat valid berdasarkan kriteria standar BSNP. Rerata persentasi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa eksperimen 1 yaitu 78,20 % lebih tinggi dari eksperimen 2 yaitu 63,89 %. Rerata nilai psikomotorik dan afektiv eksperimen 1 berturut turut 83,46 dan 84,44 lebih tinggi dari eksperimen 2 yaitu 79,24 dan 82,10. Uji reliabilitas tes pada taraf α = 0,05 diperoleh rhitung > rtabel (0,88 > 0,361). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes secara keseluruhan mempunyai tingkat reliabilitas yang tinggi maka tes ini dinyatakan reliabel. Uji hipotesis dengan uji t pihak kanan pada taraf α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung> ttabel ( 5,35 > 1,673). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan modul kimia yang telah dikembangkan sudah baik dan standar sesuai kriteria BSNP serta layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran kimia di SMA.
