Abstract

Perbandingan hasil belajar siswa menggunakanmodel Team Games Tournaments (TGT) berbantu media teka-teki silang dengan model Make A Match (MM) berbantu media Index Card Match ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model Team Games Tournaments (TGT) berbantu media teka-teki silang dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model Make A Match (MM) berbantu media index card match pada materi sistem koloid. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 17 Medan. Populasi dalam sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sampling random sederhana, dimana didapat kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen I dan kelas XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen II. Instrumentes yang digunakan adalah 23 soal pilihan berganda yang telah diuji validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan reliabilitasnya. Berdasarkan hasil uji persyaratan data, diketahui bahwa data peningkatan hasil belajar (gain) pada kelas eksperimen I dan eksperimen II berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji-t dua pihak. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh thitung> ttabel yakni 2,162767>1,670, artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang menerapkan model Team Games Tournaments (TGT) berbantu media teka-teki silang tidak sama dengan rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang menerapkan model Make A Match (MM) berbantu media index cardmatch pada materi sistem koloid. Rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar siswa (gain) kelas eksperimen I adalah 0,8096 (80,96%) dan kelas eksperimen II 0,8145 (81,45%). Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen I adalah 85, 13889 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen II adalah 85,080645.
