Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatifi tipe Jigsaw pada materi ekosistem di kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Quasi experiment (eksperimen semu). Sampel penelitian di ambil secara random sampling (sampel acak). Sampel terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X IPA 4 yang berjumlah 32 orang sebagai kelas Jigsaw dan kelas X IPA 5 yang berjumlah 32 orang sebagai kelas Ekspositori. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes hasil belajar siswa berbentuk pilihan berganda yang terdiri dari 30 soal yang telah di validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa dengan model Jigsaw adalah 80,2 ± 7,75 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dengan rata-rata 75,4 ± 7,77. Analisis pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan taraf kepercayaan α = 0,05 menunjukkan thitung>ttabel (2,792 >1,695), yang berarti dalam penelitian ini H0 di tolak sedangkan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 7 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019.
