Abstract
Penelitian ini telah dilakukan dengan judul “Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Berbasis Metode Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Momentum Dan Impuls Kelas X Semester II Di Man 2 Model Medan T.P 2018/2019” bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model Cooperative Learning dengan metode Discovery Learning dan pembelajaran konvensional, dengan pengaruh yang signifikan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning dengan metode Discovery Learning. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experiment, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling. Kedua kelas yang menjadi penelitian adalah kelas eksperimen X IPA9 dan kelas kontrol X MIPA8 yang berjumlah masing-masing 33 siswa. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes hasil belajar berupa tes pilihan berganda berjumlah 15 soal yang telah divalidkan, dan instrumen aktivitas siswa diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dengan 2 orang sebagai pengamat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing sebesar 46,29 dan 43,05, kemudian dilakukan uji prasyarat data yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas data diperoleh Lhitung < Ltabel (0,1488 < 0,1554) untuk kelas eksperimen dan (0,1324 < 0,1554) untuk kelas kontrol, sehingga disimpulkan data pretes dari kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Fhitung < Ftabel (1,016 < 1,79) maka sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian dinyatakan homogen, setelah diberi perlakuan hasil rata-rata nilai postes kelas eksperimen adalah 77,41 dan kelas kontrol 71,14. Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa adalah 66,48 tergolong aktif. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung = 2,66 dan ttabel= 1,669 sehingga thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan akibat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning dengan metode Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi momentum dan impuls di kelas X semester II MAN 2 Model Medan T.P. 2018/2019.
