Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation menggunakan flash card terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi alat-alat optik di kelas XI semester II SMA Negeri 14 Medan T.P 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian two group pre-test and post-test. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMAN 14 Medan T.P. 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 7 kelas berjumlah 234 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 29 siswa dan 26 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yakni tes pilihan berganda yang terdiri dari 15 item dan lembar observasi aktivitas. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji t. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 40,69 dan nilai rata-rata pretes kelas kontrol 35,89 sedangkan nilai rata-rata postes kelas eksperimen 81,37 dan kelas kontrol 67,69. Hasil aktivitas siswa pertemuan pertama 67,23, pertemuan kedua 80,63, pertemuan ketiga 92,09 maka rata-rata aktivitas siswa 79,98 dengan kategori aktif. Hasil uji t postes diperoleh thitung> ttabel= 5,325 > 1,673 dengan α = 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif group investigation menggunakan flash card terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi alat-alat optik di kelas XI semester II SMA Negeri 14 Medan T.P. 2018/2019.
