Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the use of Edmodo in learning English. To investigate the problems when using Edmodo in learning English and to find out the solution to solve the problems. The participants of this research was English teacher and students of eleventh grade Multimedia SMK Multi Karya. The technique of data collection used was observation and interview. The research finding Edmodo media are good to make the students interest and attention in learning process of English class. In Edmodo the English teacher use several
features, such as assignment, quiz, gradebook and library. There are three problems in using Edmodo, the problems from school, teachers and students.
However there are several solution to solve the problem. First solution for the school, Increase the amount computer, repairing the broken computer, check the
internet connection, pay attention to internet and provide jenset or diesel to anticipate in power outage. Second, solution for teacher, they must held to
seminars about Edmodo, so the teacher will know about what is Edmodo. Third, solution for the students, use hand phone or laptop and learning groups with other
students.
