Abstract

Berpikir kreatif matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa untuk dapat menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan, baik permasalahan matematis maupun permasalahan yang terkait dalam kehidupan. Kenyataan di lapangan kemampuan berikir kreatif masih kurang dimiliki siswa disebabkan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan kurang dapat mengoptimalkan berkembangnya proses berpikir kreatif siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diterapkan model pembelajaran Treffinger dengan metode Snowball Throwing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Treffinger dengan metode Snowball Throwing pada materi PLSV dan PtLSV. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis yang dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan angket rasa ingin tahu siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji perbedaan rata-rata dengan menggunakan uji statistik-t (independent sample t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada kelas kontrol adalah 16,77 sedangkan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen adalah 18,09. Setelah dilakukan uji-t diperoleh 1,98 > 1,675, yang bermakna bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang belajar dengan model Treffinger dengan metode Snowball Throwing dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model konvensional. Pengaruh model Treffinger pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif juga telihat pada perbedaan persentase skor pada indikator sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan Treffinger. Rata-rata persentase skor setiap indikator yang berada pada kategori baik/baik sekali meningkat dari 10,77% menjadi 59,48%. Model Treffinger juga memberi efek positif terhadap aspek afektif yaitu dapat dilihat dari respon siswa terhadap sikap rasa ingin tahu setelah pembelajaran Treffinger mendapat respon yang sangat positif, sikap keterbukaan terhadap perasanperasaan mejemuk mendapat respon yang positif dan sikap pemberian nilai mendapat respon yang sangat positif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan Model Pembelajaran Model Treffinger dengan metode Snowball Throwing memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik dan efektif dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Konvensioanl.
