Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah menurun atau naiknya tingkat kepercayaan diri remaja di Desa Baja Dolok Kecamatan Tanah Jawa Kabupaten Simalungun dikarenakan kecanduan dalam bermain game mobile legend. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecanduan game mobile legend terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di Desa Baja Dolok Kecamatan Tanah Jawa Kabupaten Simlungun.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi berjumlah 286 orang. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 53 orang remaja. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket (kuiesioner) dan teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan uji t untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan pengolahan data dengann regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi linier adalah Ŷ = 54,39 + 0,38 X. Dari hasil temuan
tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kecanduan game mobile legend terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di Desa Baja Dolok Kecamatan Tanah Jawa Kabupaten Simalungun melalui > yaitu 2,608 >2,007 dan besarnya konstribusi kecanduan game mobile legend diperoleh nilai determinan sebesar D= 16,81%.
