Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu masih rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI MAN Batu Bara pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru dan minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Ekonomi siswa Kelas XI MAN Batu Bara Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAN Batu Bara yang beralamat di JL.Perintis Kemerdekaan No.76, Kota Lima Puluh, Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN Batu Bara yang berjumlah 70 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 42 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik penggumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan menggunakan uji hipotesis secara parsial (uji-t) dan secara simultan (uji-F) serta menggunakan koefisien determinasi. Sebelum dilakukan uji analisis data maka dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas, uji linearitas,dan uji multikolinearitas. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda, menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kompetensi profesionalisme guru dan minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ditunjukkan oleh persamaan Y = 29.522+ 0,291X1 + 0,460X2. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pada kompetensi profesionalisme guru diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,074 sedangkan ttabel = 1,684 pada taraf signifikan 95% dan alpha 5%. Dengan demikian thitung > ttabel atau 4,074 > 1,684 sehingga hipotesis diterima.Sedangkan Hasil pengujian hipotesis pada minat belajar diperoleh thitung sebesar 5,636 sedangkan ttabel = 1.684 Dengan demikian thitung > ttabel atau 5,636 > 1.684 sehingga hipotesis diterima. Secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan kompetensi profesionalisme guru dan minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Ekonomi, hal ini terlihat dari hasil perhitungan Fhitung > Ftabel atau 47,866 > 3,24. Koefisien determinasi diperoleh 0,711 yang menjelaskan pengaruh variable kompetensi profesionalisme guru dan minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Ekonomi siswa sebesar 71,1%, sedangkan 28,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi profesionalisme guru dan minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas XI MAN Batu Bara Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.
