Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan bertanya siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada Tema 1 Sub Tema 2. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya siswa dengan menggunakan model Probing Promting Learning, untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model Probing Promting Learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SD Negeri 104188 Medan Krio. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD Negeri 104188 Medan Krio. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 104188 Medan Krio T.A 2019/2020 sebanyak 27 orang siswa terdiri dari 11 orang siswa laki-laki dan 16 orang siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan observasi meliputi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dari jumlah siswa 27 orang diperoleh hasil observasi awal 4 orang siswa cukup terampil dengan persentase 14,81% dan yang tidak terampil sebanyak 23 orang siswa dengan persentase 85,19% dan rata-rata klasikal sebesar 42,55. Setelah pelaksanaan pada siklus I dengan menggunakan model Probing Promting Learning pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada Tema 1 Sub Tema 2, maka hasil siklus I pertemuan I terdapat 10 orang siswa yang mengalami peningkatan keterampilan bertanya dengan persentase 37,04% dan 17 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan persentase 62,96% dengan nilai rata-rata klasikal 57,22. Kemudian dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus I pertemuan II sehingga ketuntasan menjadi 15 orang siswa dengan persentase 55,56% dan 12 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan persentase 44,44% dan dengan nilai rat-rata klasikal 69,51. Dilanjutkan dengan dilakukannya siklus II pertemuan I terdapat 19 orang siswa yang mengalami peningkatan keterampilan bertanya dengan persentase 70,37% dan 8 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan persentase 29,63% dan dengan nilai rata-rata klasikal 72,62. Kemudian dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II pertemuan II sehingga sudah mencapai 23 orang siswa yang mengalami peningkatan keterampilan bertanya dengan persentase 85,19% dan 4 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan persentase 14,81% dengan nilai rata-rata klasikal meningkat sebesar 75,70. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada siklus I dan siklus II tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan model Probing Promting Learning di kelas IV SD Negeri 104188 Medan Krio T.A 2019/2020, Dapat meningkat dengan baik.
