Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran team quiz pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 105300 Suka Makmur T.A 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dimana masing-masing siklus memiliki empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas VB SD Negeri 105300 Suka Makmur yang berjumlah 26 siswa, terdiri dari 16 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran team quiz. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi motivasi belajar siswa, lembar observasi kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran team quiz dan lembar angket motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada saat sebelum dilakukan tindakan siklus I, peneliti melakukan observasi untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasi observasi siswa pada siklus I pertemuan pertama diperoleh 5 siswa yang termotivasi dengan persentase 19,23% dan 21 siswa yang belum termotivasi dengan persentase 80,76%, dan pada siklus I pertemuan kedua sebanyak 13 siswa yang termotivasi dengan persentase 50% dan 13 siswa yang belum termotivasi dengan persentase 50%, pada siklus II pertemuan pertama diperoleh 19 siswa yang termotivasi dengan persentase 73,07% dan 7 siswa yang belum termotivasi dengan persentase 26,92%, dan pada siklus II pertemuan kedua sebanyak 24 siswa yang termotivasi dengan persentase 92,30% dan sedikitnya 2 siswa yang belum termotivasi dengan persentase 7,69%. Sedangkan hasil analisis data angket siswa pada siklus I diperoleh 12 siswa yang termotivasi dengan persentase 46,15% dan 14 siswa yang belum termotivasi dengan persentase 53,84%, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dimana 21 siswa dinyatakan termotivasi dengan persentase 80,76% dan sedikitnya 5 siswa yang belum termotivasi dengan persentase 19,23%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran team quiz dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 105300 Suka Makmur T.A 2017/2018. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran team quiz dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu alternative dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
