Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan modul fisika terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok usaha dan energi di Kelas X Semester II SMA Negeri 15 Medan T.P 2017/2018. Metode penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain two group Pre-test dan Post-test. Populasi penelitian semua siswa kelas X IPA , terdiri dari tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang diambil dengan teknik class random sampling, yaitu kelas X IPA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan modul fisika dan kelas X IPA-4 sebagai kelas kontrol diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional, masing-masing kelas sebanyak 35 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes objektif sebanyak 20 soal dan lembar observasi afektif, psikomotorik serta aktivitas. Analisis data menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil analisa data diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 40,86 dengan standar deviasi 9,35 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 39,86 dengan standar deviasi 7.72. Uji normalitas data Lhitung < Ltabel (0,1349 < 0,1498) artinya data berdistribusi normal. Untuk uji homogenitas Fhitung < Ftabel (1,004 < 1,808). Setelah itu dilakukan uji t dua pihak dengan data thitung < ttabel (1,043< 1,997) yang artinya kedua kelas memiliki kemampuan awal sama. Kemudian diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dan model konvensional pada kelas kontrol maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata postes kelas eksperimen 73,00 dan kelas kontrol 52,00. Kemudian dilakukan uji t untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan antara nilai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil uji t diperoleh thitung = 8,408 sedangkan ttabel = 1,668 sehingga thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima. Hasil observasi didapatkan rata-rata afektif siswa 71,37 dalam kategori baik sedangkan rata-rata psikomotorik siswa 68,57 dalam kategori baik dan rata – rata aktivitas siswa 71,85 dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan akibat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation berbantuan modul fisika terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa.
