Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar membaca pemahaman siswa masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang guru terapkan belum sesuai untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar membaca pemahaman siswa. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca yang guru lakukan kurang menarik perhatian siswa untuk mengikuti proses belajar mengajar. Kebiasaan belajar siswa yang cenderung semangat membaca tanpa memahami isi bacaan juga menjadi salah satu masalah dalam penelitian ini. Sehingga dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar membaca siswa kelas III SD Negeri 101775 Sampali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research), dengan subjek penelitian Siswa Kelas III SD Negeri 101775 Sampali Tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Berjumlah 29 siswa, dengan rincian 14 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar membaca siswa kelas III. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Dengan 4 (empat) tahapan pada masing-masing siklusnya yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/observasi, dan refleksi. Adapun alat pengumpulan datanya adalah tes, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data dari 29 siswa diperoleh hasil tes awal membaca siswa dengan hasil untuk kategori sangat rendah 13 siswa (44,82%), kategori rendah 3 siswa (10,34%), kategori sedang 4 siswa (13,79%), kategori tinggi 5 siswa (17,24%), dan kategori sangat tinggi 4 siswa (13,79%), dengan rata-rata klaksikal sebesar 50,3. Dari hasil yang diperoleh di atas ditindaklanjuti ke siklus I dengan menggunakan model CIRC dan diperoleh hasil belajar membaca pemahaman untuk kategori sangat rendah 8 siswa (27,58%), kategori rendah 2 siswa (6,89%), kategori sedang 5 siswa (17,29%), kategori tinggi 8 siswa (27,58%), dan kategori sangat tinggi 6 siswa (20,68%), dengan rata-rata klaksikal sebesar 59,3. Perolehan siklus I secara signifikan meningkat dan ditindaklanjuti pada siklus II dengan perolehan nilai membaca pemahaman untuk kategori sangat rendah 0 siswa (00,00%), kategori rendah 0 siswa (00,00%), kategori sedang 2 siswa (6,89), kategori tinggi 0 siswa (00,00%), dan kategori sangat tinggi 27 siswa (93,10%), dengan rata-rata klaksikal sebesar 85,5. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar membaca siswa pokok bahasan membaca intensif di kelas III SD Negeri 101775 Sampali T.A 2017/2018.
