Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar Dasar dan Pengukuran Listrik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray, model pembelajaran konvensional dan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray akan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas X program keahlian Teknik Instalasi Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik (TIPTL) di SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan pada Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X TIPTL SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan, dengan sampel kelas X TIPTL 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 32 siswa dan X TIPTL 2 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 32 siswa. Metode pemilihan sampel penelitian dengan cara mencari tingkat homogenitas tiap kelas. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, yaitu pengumpulan data menggunakan tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test) setelah diberikan perlakuan (treatment). Untuk menguji normalitas data digunakan uji liliefors pada taraf kepercayaan (α)= 0,05. Uji validitas instrumen dilakukan dengan validitas isi dan untuk instrumen tes hasil belajar dihitung dengan rumus Product Moment. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji-t dua pihak kanan pada pre-test dan uji-t satu pihak pada post-test dengan dua sampel independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata post-test hasil belajar Dasar dan Pengukuran Listrik kelas eksperimen yaitu 83,75 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yaitu 78,75. Hasil uji-t satu pihak juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel = 3,222> 2,00. Artinya ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa kelas eksperimen dengan siswa kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar Dasar Dan Pengukuran Listrik menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray lebih tingg dari hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional
