Abstract

Analysis of the Dissemination and Implementation of Curriculum Education Unit (KTSP) in high school chemistry subjects in Aceh Province were reported in this thesis. The study aims to determine the description of dissemination and implementation of curriculum in high school chemistry subjects in the province of Aceh in order to reveal the level of compliance in the implementation of the KTSP in terms of the socialization aspect of the curriculum, syllabus, preparing lesson plans, preparation of annual and semester program, compiling teaching materials, and activities teaching and learning. The population is all chemistry teachers contained in the Province of Aceh Province. The research sample is determined by random sampling so that as many as .68 people netted chemistry teacher who is considered to represent high school teacher and private high schools from 9 districts. The research data were taken by using a questionnaire / questionnaires that have been standardized. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis with procedural techniques. The results showed that in general the implementation of curriculum, level of education units for the subjects Chemistry in Aceh province has done well. (72.92% completed, while only 27.08 which has not been done) Judging from the parameters of the implementation component KTSP to note that the socialization is not maximum (12.5%), Formulation and Development Syllabus done yet maximal (50%), Implementation: well done RPP (87.5%), preparation of annual program / semester performing well (87.5%), preparation of materials teaching done very well (100%) and teaching and learning activities are very well done (100%), Pattern KTSP monitoring conducted by the superintendent based on indicators of socialization (86.31%), identification of problems of teaching (82.85%), Acting as a resource person (88.08%) Conducting inter-personal communication (88.55%),. Acting as a pioneer of reforms in the school system (79.50%) of all these indicators show a very good category. The implications of the results of this study indicate that the low socialization and implementation of curriculum development in subjects chemistry syllabus high school in Aceh province will have an impact on the implementation of the curriculum itself, in particular the implementation of curriculum in high school chemistry subjects in Aceh.
