Abstract

This research have purpose to know the effect of inquiry training learning model on student’s science process skills in harmonic vibration topic in class X SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran. The type of this research is quasi-experimental which using pre-test and post-test desain. The sample of this research were students of class X-1 that as experiment class and X-2 that as control class consist of 36 students. The object of this research is student’s science process skills. The instrument to measure student’s science process skills are consists of ten questions based on science process indicator which has been validated by the validator. The data obtain so inquiry training learning model can improve students' science process skills on harmonic vibration topic in class X SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran semester A.Y. 2017/2018. The value of the average post-test experimental class was 74.16 and control class was 65.55. Hypothesis with t-test shows the result there was a significant effect of inquiry training learning model to student science process skills on harmonic vibration topic of SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran class X science second semester A.Y. 2017/2018.
