Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Ukur Tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran grup investigasi terhadap hasil belajar ilmu ukutr tanah. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X TGB A sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 34 siswa dan sebagai kelas konrol adalah kelas X TGB B yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen menggunakan desain pre-test, pembelajaran dan post-test. Instrumen penelitian terlebih dahulu diujicobakan, dilanjutkan dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, indeks kesukaran, dan daya pembeda soal. Hasil uji coba tes hasil belajar Ilmu Ukur Tanah dari 35 butir soal yang diujicobakan diperoleh 25 butir soal valid dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,83 termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Dari hasil uji-t hasil belajar Ilmu Ukur Tanah pada taraf signifikan 5 % = 4,184 diperoleh thitung>ttabel yakni 4,184>1,731,maka hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe grup investigasi memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas x program keahlian teknik gambar bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam. Siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe grup investigasi memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih unggul dengan nilai rata-rata ( ) dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dengan nilai rata-rata ( ). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap hasil belajar, maka diharapkan guru mata pelajaran Ilmu Ukur Tanah dapat menggunakan dan mempelajari tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe grup investigasi, karena dapat dijadikan sebagai alternative dalam pemilihan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan bagi para peneliti lanjutan dapat dijadikan sebagai tambahan informasi dan sebagai referensi untuk penelitian berikutnya.
