Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan mengajar guru yang monoton, peran aktif siswa dalam menerima pelajaran guru rendah sehingga motivasi belajar siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan mengajar guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia yaitu 105 siswa. Yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 33% dari jumlah populasi yaitu 35 siswa. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini penulis memberikan 2 angket yang masing-masing memiliki butir item yang berbeda. Sebelum angket dibagikan kepada responden, angket terlebih dahulu diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Dari 25 butir angket variabel keterampilan mengajar guru yang diuji terdapat 22 butir angket yang valid dan 3 butir angket yang tidak valid, dengan nilai reliabilitas 0,935. Sedangkan angket motivasi belajar siswa, dari 25 butir angket yang diujikan terdapat 20 butir angket yang valid dan 5 butir angket yang tidak valid, dengan nilai reliabilitas 0,925. Dari analisis data, penulis menggunakan korelasi product moment untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan mengajar guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Pengujian analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi product moment dan uji keberartian hipotesis dengan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh gambaran keterampilan mengajar guru dalam kategori cukup sebesar 31,34% dan motivasi belajar siswa dalam kategori cukup sebesar 42,86%. Hasil analisis korelasi antara keterampilan mengajar guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai korelasi rhitung = 0,756 dengan rtabel = 0,334 pada taraf kepercayaan 95% dan alpha 5%. Dengan demikian 0,756 > 0,334 atau nilai rhitung lebih besar daripada nilai rtabel maka korelasi sangat signifikan. Uji hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh thitung = 6,639 dengan ttabel 1,689 pada taraf kepercayaan 95% dan alpha 5%. Dengan demikian 7,148 > 1,689 atau nilai thitung lebih besar daripada nilai ttabel maka hipotesis diterima. Ini berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan mengajar guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin baik keterampilan mengajar guru, maka semakin baik juga motivasi belajar siswa.
