PSYCHOPATH ON ED PORTER'S CHARACTER IN JOHN MOORE'S MOVIE I.T

This study dealt with psychopath on Ed Porter’s characters in John Moore’s
Movie I.T. The objectives of this study were to investigate the factors of
psychopath of Ed in I.T, describe the psychopathic linguistic realization in I.T,and
Elaborate the reasons of the psychopath of Ed in I.T. The research was conducted
in a descriptive qualitative method. This movie released in 2016 by John Moore.
The dialogues were analyzed to completing the data of this study. Data were
collected through finding out the factors that cause the psychopath in the
character, identifying and analyzing the related data with the psychopathy
symptoms and explaining about thr reason of ed become psychopath. The finding
of this study showed that the factor that drives Ed to be psychopath is the
environmental factor, there were 11 symptoms which are experienced by Ed as
psychopath that become psychopathic linguistic realization, and the main cause of
Ed becomes psychopath is because he gets bad treatments from his boss.
