Abstract

This study aims to : (1) to determine the effect of science learning outcomes of students who were taught using collaborative learning media based on collaborative and student who were taught using media charta on science subjects in grade V SD 024763 Binjai. (2) To know the effectiveness of student learning by using interactive media based on collaborative media with charta. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 024763 Binjai with 2 class research samples determined by cluster random sampling technique that is class A which was taught by using collaborative learning media based on collaborative and class B that was learned by using Charta media. The research instrument used is based on the criteria of Bloom (C1-C4) which is the multiple choice learning test. Data analysis technique using Independent Sample t test at significance level α = 0,05 with SPSS 20.00. The t test's significance is 0.001. Since the significance is <0.005 then Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded there is a difference between students who are taught by using interactive media based on collaborative and students who with media charta. The results of this study are expected to be useful as: (1) Providing inputs to teachers of science subjects in order to improve the quality of learning is expected (2) as input to researchers in order to develop relevant studies. It is expected that teachers can use collaborative interactive learning media on the material of light properties in an effort to improve students' ability and understanding in science learning
