Abstract
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk menemukanapakah penerapan strategi pembelajaran SQ3R dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarsiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tigapuluh sembilan siswa tingkat IX-1 dandibantu oleh dua orang partisipan.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan: 1) tes tertulis untuk hasil belajar, 2)wawancara untuk memperoleh tanggapan guru dan siswa tentang strategipembelajaran yang diterapkan, dan 3) observasi dilakukan pada setiap tindakanuntuk memperoleh data tentang aktifitas guru dan siswa yang berkembang selamapembelajaran berlangsung. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptifmenggunakan perhitungan persentase (%)Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) pembelajaran pada siklus pertama secaraproses maupun hasil tidak menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata(63.59%), 2) pembelajaran pada siklus kedua berdasarkan proses dan hasilmenunjukkan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata (77.99%), dan 3) perubahan hasil belajarantara siklus pertama dan siklus kedua diukur dengan menggunakan ttes danhasilnya 6.050, dan ttabel adalah 1.684.Berdasarkan hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategipembelajaran SQ3R dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS Ekonomi siswa danmembuat siswa lebih aktif belajar sendiri. Implikasinya diharapkan guru-guru dapatmenerapkan strategi pembelajaran SQ3R, tetapi penerapannya membutuhkanpengembangan dan inovasi. Disarankan guru-guru seharusnya mencoba menerapkanstrategi pembelajaran SQ3R untuk materi pengajaran yang lebih mendalam.
