Abstract

The fundamental research about using multimedia and goemetry closed pack model for overcoming misconception ininorganic. Chemistry intrgrated learning have been conducted. The student create any geometry closed packing model such as simple cubic, hexagonal close pack, face center cubic and body center cubic using small balls, glue gun and an apparatus foe measuring diametre of ball. Work sheets which available foe measure the student’s comprehantion in practical is prepared refer as manual procedure of practical grafis media. The feed back of this activity. The students fill the questioner about student reponse related creation and using geometry closed pack model. The result pf research shows that there is significant mean increase beetween pretest(33) and post test scores (66). The normalized gain score average caused by using the model is 0.511 in medium category. Misconceptions in In organic Chemistry can be overcome through using this model such as how interpreted radius beetween cationic and anionic of crystal geometry. Students joyfull and interest for creating and using the goemetry closed packing model for solve many problem in inorganic chemistry test. Those are 86% students say there are relevance beetween the media and subject matter especially ionic compound strctures. Using this multimedia lab model will improve students students achievement in Advance Chemistry especially in inorganic chemistry.
