Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran yang diperlukan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika; (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi lebih unggul daripada hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis rendah; dan (3) Untuk mengetahui interaksi strategi pembelajaran dan berpikir logis siswa dalam mempengaruhi basil belajar Matematika. Penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis Deskriptif dan Infrensial. Teknik analisis Deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data, antara lain: nilai rata-rata (mean), median, standar deviasi (SD) dan kecenderungan data. Teknik statistik Infrensial digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian, dimana teknik infrensial di gunakan adalah analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur (desain faktorial 2x2) diuji dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA YP. Siloam Medan pada Tahun Pelajaran 2009-2010 terdiri dari 3 kelas sebanyak 124 orang siswa, sedangkan dalam pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak kluster (cluster random sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang diajar dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah lebih tinggi daripada basil belajar Matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) Hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi lebih unggul daripada hasil belajar Matematika siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis rendah; dan (3) Adanya interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan berpikir logis siswa dalam mempengaruhi basil belajar Matematika siswa.
