Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran generative dan model pembelajaran inkuiriter bombing pada materi SPLTV di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung. Jenis penelitianiniadalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XSMA Negeri 2 Tarutung yang terdiri dari 8kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan 256 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara clusterrandom sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas secara acak yaitu kelasX-MIA 3 (32 siswa) dan kelasX-MIA4 (32 siswa). Kelas X-MIA 3 adalah kelas eksperimen 1 yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif dan kelas X-MIA 4 adalah kelas eksperimen 2 yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaranmatematisyang telah divalidasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwarata-rata nilai kemampuan penalaran matematis (post-test) siswa di kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 78,25 dan nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep (post-test) siswa di kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 61,19. Untuk uji hipotesis digunakan uji t duapihak, dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung = 3,067danttabel = 1,667, sehingga thitung> ttabel yaitu 3,067>1,667(1) maka yang berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran generatef lebih tinggi dari pada kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiriter bombing pada materi SPLTV di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung.
