Abstract
Economic growth becomes a benchmark to see the economic progress in each region. Where the high level of economic growth can be seen from the high PDRB. economic growth can be affected by two factors, labor and local income. North Sumatra has an unstable economic growth from 2010-2015. This study aims to see the effect of labor and local income on economic growth in northern disumatera. This research method using multiple linear regression analysis, Data used during period 2010-2015. The results show that labor has a significant effect on economic growth with a value of 0.035 <0.05. Local revenue also has a significant effect on economic growth with a significant value of 0.018 <0.05. So this study proves that the level of labor and income of the native regions affect the level of economic growth.
