Abstract
The study aims to is to find out the significant effect on students’ achivement in reading comprehension narrative text by comic strips. This study was conducted by using experimental research. Population of this research was for eight grade of SMP SWASTA BANDUNG. Two class were divided into two groups. The study in experimental group were receive treatment by using comic, while the control group have not treatment without comic. To collecting data was taken from multiple choice test. After analysing data, it was found that the valuae of t-obs was 5.87 with degree of freedom (df) = 58 at the level of singnificant (0.05) = 2.00. it means that t-observation was higher than t-table (5.87>2.00) the result of the study showed that teaching by comic strips significanly effected the students’ achivement in reading comprehension narrative text.
