Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis apakah keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan dengan model scientific inquiry menggunakan peta konsep lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional (2) Menganalisis apakah keterampilan proses sains pada siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah di atas rata-rata lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah di bawah rata-rata dan (3) Menganalisis apakah ada interaksi antara model scientific inquiry menggunakan peta konsep dengan sikap ilmiah terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak dua kelas, dimana kelas pertama diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran scientific inquiry menggunakan peta konsep dan kelas kedua dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes keterampilan proses sains dan sikap ilmiah. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ANAVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterampilan proses sains siswa yang diajarkan dengan model scientific inquiry menggunakan peta konsep lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional, (2) keterampilan proses sains pada siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah di atas rata-rata lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah di bawah rata-rata dan (3) ada interaksi antara model scientific inquiry menggunakan peta konsep dengan sikap ilmiah terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada siswa.
