Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XII. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Double-Loop Problem Solving lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas XII IPS MAL UIN Sumatera Utara Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAL UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPS MAL UIN Sumatera Utara Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 68 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive random sampling yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kontrol masing-masing berjumlah 34 orang sehingga menjadi 68 orang, dari 68 orang siswa diambil sampel yaitu 60 orang siswa yaitu masing-masing kelas diambil 30 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji hipotesis yang dijadikan acuan untuk membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Double-Loop Problem Solving lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran Konvensional. Dari pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji t pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% pada α = 0,05 dengan dk = n1 + n2 – 2 diperoleh thitung > ttabel (3,140 > 1,671), berarti H0 ditolak dan diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Double- Loop Problem Solving lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan hasil belajar akuntansi yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran Konvensional pada siswa kelas XII IPS MAL UIN Sumatera Utara Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/208.
