Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar , sikap belajar dan keterampilan belajar menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) dan pembelajaran konvensional, 2) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, 3) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar fisika antara siswa pemahaman konsep kelompok atas dan siswa pemahaman konsep kelompok bawah, 4) mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara cluster random sampling sebanyak dua kelas, dimana satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (X MIA 12) dan kelas yang lain sebagai kelas kontrol (X MIA 1) diterapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan berganda dengan lima pilihan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) hasil belajar pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, 2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pembelajaran onvensional, 3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pemahaman konsep kelompok atas dan kelompok bawah dan 4) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pemahaman konsep dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.
