Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapain dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini ertujuan untuk meningkatakan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri pada mata pelajaran matematika materi pokok bahasan Soal – soal pecahan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101771 Tembung Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas ( PTK ). Penelitian ini dari 2 siklus. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V a SD Negeri 101771 Tembung dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang siswa terdiri dari 20 perempuan 20 laki – laki. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes dan Observasi.Dari hasil penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar pada setiap siklusnya. Pada pretes awal diperoleh nilai,terlihat kemampuan siswa dalam mengusai materi soal- soal pecahan masih rendah. Terlihat dari hasil perolehan nilai, Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa tingkat semangat siswa dalam belajar masih rendah. Pada pretes awal diperoleh nilai,terlihat kemampuan siswa dalam mengusai materi soal- soal pecahan masih rendah.Terlihat dari hasil perolehan nilai, Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa tingkat semangat siswa dalam belajar masih rendah. Nilai hasil belajar siswa Tertinggi adalah 80 dan nilai terendah adalah 30 dengan nilai rata - rata dengan nilai rata – rata kelas hanya 61,55 %65 orang siswa 26 % yang N > 60 Tuntas dalam kategori baik ( Tuntas Belajar ), Sedangkan yang tidak tuntas 35 orang siswa 14 % Hasil Perolehan Nilai siswa pada pre test. Setelah dilakukan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri pada siklus I, hasil belajar siswa sudah mulai meningkat walupun belum mencapai tingkat ketuntasn belajar.mendapatkan nilai 80 dan nilai terendah 40 dengan nilai rata –rata siswa 62,3 %30 siswa ( 75 % ) dengan kategori baik ( Tuntas Belajar ), sedangkan yang tidak tuntas 10 siswa ( 25 % ). Dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sama pada sikluks II di atas dapat terlihat adanya peningkatan kemapuan siswa pada materi Soal – soal pecahan. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari hasil rata – rata nilai siswa 65,6 % atau 92,5 % (37 siswa tuntas) pada postes siklus I naik menjadi 70 % (28 siswa tuntas ).
