Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam materi pokok menulis puisi pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model complete sentence pada materi pokok menulis puisi dikelas IV SD negeri 101801 Delitua. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas ( PTK ). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV berjumlah 34 orang siswa, objek dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan model complete sentence pada materi menulis puisi. Alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi siswa, lembar observasi guru, dan lembar tes melengkapi kalimat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Dimana setiap siklus dilakukan 2 x pertemuan yang masing – masing pertemuan 35 menit. Jadi dalam 2 siklus ada 4 x pertemuan, dalam setiap siklus memiliki 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrument yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan hasil angket yang diberikan pada setiap siklus yang terdiri dari tes menulis puisi. Dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan terhadap 34 orang siswa dari tes tindakan awal sampai akhir diperoleh hasil yang terus meningkat dari setiap siswa, dapat diperoleh hasil belajar siswa pada tes awal siswa hasil belajar yang tuntas hanya 2 siswa atau (5,99%) dan siswa yang hasil belajarnya belum tuntas berjumlah 32 siswa (94,11%) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 49.05. Dari hasil tes awal peneliti menindak lanjuti siklus I dengan menggunakan model Complete Sentence hasil belajar siswa terlihat meningkat dari tes awal yaitu siswa yang tinggi berjumlah 20 orang siswa (58,82) dan yang belum tuntas terdapat 14 orang siswa (41,18%) dengan nilai rata-rata 49.05. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa tinggi yaitu 32 siswa (94,11%) dan yang belum tuntas berjumlah 2 orang siswa (5,89%) dengan nilai rata-rata 77,70. Dari tes yang dilakukan terhadap 34 orang siswa dari awal pertemuan hingga akhir diperoleh hasil yang meningkat. Kesimpulan dari perolehan analisis di atas dapat disimpulkan dengan menggunakan model complete sentence siswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam materi pokok menulis puisi pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dikelas IV SD Negeri 101801 Delitua. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka peneliti menyarankan kepada guru kelas VI diharapkan dapat melanjutkan dan mengembangakn model complete sentence siswa lebih memahami pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kepada siswa kelas IV agar lebih aktif pada saat pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesa agar memperoleh hasil yang baik.
