Abstract
Penlitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetaui adanya hubungan antara penguatan (reinforcement) guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 064009 Medan Marelan, (2) mengethui adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penguatan (reinforcement) guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 064009 Medan Marelan. Populasi dan sampel dari penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 064009 Medan Marelan berjumlah 35 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel penguatan (reinforcement) guru dan motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode angket (questionnaire). Sebelum diberikan kepada sampel, instrumen diuji cobakan terlebih dahulu kepada 25 siswa non sampel di SD Negeri 067262 Medan Marelan dan dianalisis menggunakan rumus Product Moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penguatan (Reinforcement) guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 064009 Medan Marelan T.A 2016/2017. Terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji t yang menujukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel atau 2,09 > 1,069.
