Abstract

Masalah-masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: lemahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa disebabkan oleh pembelajaran membaca yang masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana membaca. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada pelajaran bahasa indonesia kelas V SD Negeri 106163 Bandar Klippa T.A 2017. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 106163 Bandar Klippa pada siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari 32 siswa, 18 orang laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 4 kali pertemuan. Dimana setiap pertemuan terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil peneliti dari 32 siswa pada saat dilakukan pre tes terdapat 10 siswa yang dikatakan tuntas dengan presentase 31,25%, 22 siswa dikatakan tidak tuntas dengan presentase 68,75% dengan perolehan rata-rata kelas 64,22. Pada siklus I peneliti meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan menggunakan model reciprocal teaching diperoleh hasil 22 siswa yang dinyatakan tuntas dengan presentase 68,75%, yang dinyatakan tidak tuntas terdiri dari 10 siswa dengan presentase 31,25% dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 67,97. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa adanya perubahan hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dari segi nilai jumlah siswa yang tuntas maupun dari presentase ketuntasan belajar dan nilai rata-rata kelas. Dari hasil siklus I peneliti menindak lanjuti ke siklus II dengan signifikan hasil belajar 30 siswa dinyatakan tuntas dengan presentase 93,75 dengan kategori sangat baik, yang dinyatakan tidak tuntas terdiri dari 2 orang siswa dengan presentase 6,25% dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 94,25.Dari perolehan dari tes hasil belajar pada siklus II ternyata presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sudah memenuhi seperti yang ditetapkan dengan presentase ketuntasan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Reciprocal Teaching dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada materi cerpen di kelas V SD Negeri 106163 Bandar Klippa T.A 2016/2017.
