Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pengaruh strategi pembelajaran dan tingkat kreativitas terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa. Tingkatan kreativitas dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu kreativitas tinggi dan kreativitas rendah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SIVA. Negeri 1 Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental semu dengan rancangan Analisis Kovarians (Anakova). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kovarians dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari rangkaian kegiatan yaitu : melakukan tes kreativitas, rnelaksanakan tes awal, melaksanakan perlakuan dan melaksanakan tes akhir.Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri I Medan tahun ajaran 2005 12006, keselunthannya bed umlah 456 orang. Sarnpel penelitian adalah 4 kelas yang diambil secara cluster random sampling. Subjek penelitian diambil 40 orang dad masing-masing kelas berdasarkan basil tes kreativitas.Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpuikan data adalah tes, yang terdiri dad tes krestivitas figural (TKF) dan tes verbal untuk mengukur tingkat kreativitas dan tes basil belajar kirnia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kovarians dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil analisis data mentmjukkan bahwa (1) Secant keseluruhan basil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan strategi pembelajaran konstruktivis lebih tinggi dari kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran konvensional, dapat dilihat dari Fhit = 5,625 > 3,92, (2) Siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas tinggi memperoleh hasil belajar kimia lebih tinggi dibanding siswa yang mempunyai tingkat kreativitas rendah, dapat dilitcat dari Fhitung = 9,758 > F tabel = 3,92, (3) Tidak ada interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan tingkat kreativitas terhadap basil belajar kimia siswa, dapat dilihat dari Fhitung = 2,146 < F tabel = 3,92.
