Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif dan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi menggunakan peralatan pengukur presisi dasar siswa kelas x teknik pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari 4 kelas pada semester I Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Pengambambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara clsuster random samplingdengan mengambil 2 kelas dari 4 kelas X MP 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MP 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa adalah tes pilihan berganda sebanyak 30 soal yang sudah diuji cobakan dan dianalisis terlebih dahulu. Sebelum dilakukan perlakuan pada 2 (dua) kelas tersebut terlebih dahulu diberikan pretest untuk memperoleh data awal dalam penelitian ini, dan setelah diberikan perlakuan kemudian diberikan posttest untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar sebagai alat pengumpul data penelitian. Data diambil dari hasil belajar yang dicapai oleh siswa dan selanjutnya dianalisis untuk menguji hipotesis dengan rumus statisti t. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa sebelum pembelajaran antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki kemampuan awal yang hampir sama, ditunjukkan dengan peroleh rata - rata nilai pretest dari kelas eksperimen 49,80dan kelas kontrol sebesar 47,86. Sesudah perlakuan pembelajran kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif hasilnya lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional. Ditunjukkan dengan perolehan rata - rata nilai posttest dari kelas eksperimen 80,63dan kelas kontrol sebesar 75,53. Dari hasil analisis uji hipotesis dengan taraf α = 0,05 dan dk 70 data perbandingan nilai posttest dari kedua kelas didapat bahwa harga thitung > ttabel (2,60> 1,67) maka Ha diterima, dengan demikian diperoleh bahwaterdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif dan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi menggunakan peralatan pengukur presisi dasar siswa kelas x teknik pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Medan.
