Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketuntasan dan pemahaman konsep dengan menggunakan pembelajaran dengan Pendekatan CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) pada Mata Diklat WAN di Kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Aekkanopan Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan sumber data diperoleh dari satu kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Kelas yang diteliti terdiri dari 37 siswa. Sebelum soal tes diberikan kepada siswa terlebih dahulu diuji kelayakannya di luar sampel yang meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, daya beda soal dan tingkat kesukaran soal.Berdasarkan kriteria ketuntasan belajar perorangan dan klasikal, pada penelitian ini diperoleh data sebagai berikut : Sebanyak 3 siswa dari 37 siswa atau 95 % yang memperoleh nilai diatas 70 atau nilai minimum 70 dan 3 orang siswa lainnya atau sebesar 5 % memperoleh nilai dibawah 70. Dengan demikian pembelajaran pada penelitian ini dikatakan telah tuntas. Kriteria tingkat penguasaan siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan, yang dibuat berdasarkan tes akhir adalah sebagai berikut: Dari 37 orang siswa terdapat 1 siswa yang mempunyai tingkat penguasaan sangat tinggi atau 2,5 %, 17 siswa yang mempunyai tingkat tingkat penguasaan tinggi atau 42,5 %, 17 siswa yang mempunyai tingkat penguasaan sedang atau 42,5 %, 5 siswa atau 12,5 % yang mempunyai tingkat penguasaan rendah dan tidak ada siswa yang mempunyai tingkat penguasaan yang sangat rendah. Persentase pencapaian indikator 1 adalah sebesar 78,57%, indikator 2 sebesar 91,82%, indikator 3 sebesar 66,25%, indikator 4 sebesar 67,5% dan indikator 5 sebesar 80% jadi 100 % atau semua indikator telah tercapai.Berdasarkan hasil-hasil penelitian yang diutarakan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning pada Mata Diklat WAN di Kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Aekkanopan Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2013/2014 dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan ketuntasan belajar siswa.
