Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Minat Belajar Siswa Dengan Hasil Belajar Sistem Rem dan sekaligus untuk mengetahui kecerdasan emosional, minat belajar siswa, dan hasil belajar sistem rem. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 108 orang siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan berdasarkan tabel Krejcie dan Morgan, yaitu sebanyak 85 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan proporsional random sampling. Data variabel Kecerdasan Emosional diambil dari menggunakan angket dan minat belajar siswa dijaring dengan menggunakan angket sedangkan hasil belajar sistem rem diambil dari data dokumentasi sekolah. Hasil uji coba angket kecerdasan emosional dari 30 butir angket yang tidak valid adalah 5 butir jadi untuk menjaring data penelitian digunakan 25 butir angket dengan reliabilitas 0,84 yang termasuk pada kategori sangat tinggi. Dan minat belajar siswa dari 34 butir angket yang tidak valid adalah 6 butir, jadi untuk menjaring data penelitian digunakan 28 butir angket dengan reliabilitas 0,86 yang termasuk pada kategori sangat tinggi.Hasil analisis pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa 1) Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Hasil Belajar Sistem Rem (Ha diterima) dengan ry.1 = 0,5608 > rtabel = 0,213 dan besar thitung = 4,363 > ttabel = 1,988; 2) Minat Belajar Siswa dengan Hasil Belajar Sistem Rem (Ha diterima) dengan ry.2 = 0,5493 > rtabel = 0,213 dan besar thitung = 4,144 > ttabel = 1,988; 3) Kecerdasan Emosional dan Minat Belajar Siswa Dengan Hasil Belajar Sistem Rem (Ha diterima) dengan R = 0,657 > rtabel = 0,213 dan besar Fhitung = 31,150 > Ftabel = 3,107.
