Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan startegi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar Pengetahuan Dasar Teknik Bangunan Pada Siswa Kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 5 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Jurusan Teknik Bangunan SMK Negeri 5 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XGB I (30 orang) sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas XGB III (30 orang) sebagai kelompok kontrol. Dari uji coba instrument diketahui bahwa 30 butir item tes yang disusun ternyata ada 3 butir tes yang tidak valid dan 3 butir tes kategori jelek yang mana dari ketiga tes tersebut merupakan tes yang tidak valid. Dan 27 butir tes yang sisa tersebut ternyata reliabel dengan r_11=0,9066 yang berarti tingkat keberartian tes hasil belajar sangat tinggi.Dari hasil uji-t hasil belajar pengetahuan dasar teknik bangunan siswa kelas X yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan pembelajaran konvensional pada taraf signifikan 5% = 1,771 diperoleh thitung > ttabel yakni 2,402 > 1,771, maka hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan konvensional mempunyai pengaruh yang berbeda yaitu hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar yang diajar dengan pembelajaran Konvensional pada mata diklat Pengetahuan Dasar Teknik Bangunan pada siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 5 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013
