Abstract

This study concerns with the improving students’ achievement in writing Procedure text through Team Pair Solo. The objective of this study is to discover through Team Pair Solo Method could significantly improve students’ achievement in writing Procedure text. It was conducted by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in seven meetings. The subject of this study was the second year students (class VIII) of SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu Labuhan Batu which consisted of 32 students. The instruments for collecting data were procedure writing test, observation sheet, and questionnaire sheet and diary notes. The result of this study showed that through Team Pair Solo method students’ achievement in writing Procedure text significantly improved.
